Mock exam strategy: how to use your 60 minutes
Two passes. First pass: 90 seconds per question, mark anything uncertain. Second pass: spend the rest on the marked ones.
The mock exam has 25 questions in 60 minutes — that's 2.4 minutes each average. Real test-takers do better with a two-pass approach.
Pass 1 (≈37 minutes): spend at most 90 seconds per question. Answer everything; mark anything you're not sure about. Move on.
Pass 2 (remaining time): go back to your marked questions. By now you've seen the full domain coverage and your subconscious has chewed on the hard ones.
Don't change confident answers on the second pass unless you've spotted a clear logical error — first-instinct accuracy is usually higher.
